NOTICE: DISRUPTION TO PUBLIC ACCESS IN RINGASKIDDY PORT

Tuesday 12 January 2016

Members of the public should be advised, that due to the commencement of Advance Works relating to the Ringaskiddy Port Redevelopment Project, access to the east and west shores at the northern edge of Ringaskiddy Port will be disrupted as of 25th January 2016. As shown below, there will be no public access to the eastern shoreline on a temporary basis for approx. 1-2 weeks. Once clearance works to this side are completed, the area will reopen and the western shoreline will then be closed to public access permanently. Access to the public pier and slipway will be maintained at all times. The Port of Cork kindly requests that pedestrians adhere to these site closures at all times as a matter of health and safety. Advance Works are due to be completed by mid-May 2016.
